Danish Pastries
The pastry represents the people and kingdom of Denmark both in name and form. Apart from being labeled as Danish, the fruity filling represents the corruption that fills the kingdom. Danishes with red filling specifically represent blood from all the deaths that occur in Hamlet.

Gummy Worms
Once Polonius was dead, Hamlet said that he was being eaten by worms. This is a reference to the decay and disease that plagues the kingdom. Gummy worms serve to represent this motif of rot.

Grape Juice with Grapes
Cups of grape juice will be served as if wine. Placed inside each cup of grape juice will be a single grape to represent the “pearl” that was in the poisoned cup of wine. Each cup will be a representation of the victory drink that accidentally poisons Gertrude.
